Terms of Service
Last updated October 26, 2026
These terms govern your use of HC Tickets: the Discord bot, and the dashboard at this website (together, the “Service”). HC Tickets is operated by Host Customs (“we”, “us”).
By adding the bot to a server, signing in to the dashboard, or using the bot in a server, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
HC Tickets lets Discord servers run support tickets: members open private ticket channels from panels, staff handle them, and conversations are saved as transcripts. The Service is free to use. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
2. Discord's terms
The Service runs on Discord. You must follow Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when using it, including Discord’s minimum age. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord.
3. If you run a server
By adding the bot to a server or configuring it, you confirm that you are allowed to, and you are responsible for how it is used there. In particular, you agree to:
- let your members know that ticket conversations are recorded in transcripts that staff can read, and that the bot may DM them about their tickets;
- not use forms or tickets to collect passwords, payment card numbers, government ID numbers or other sensitive information the Service is not designed to protect;
- make sure the content you configure — panel text, messages and uploaded images — is yours to use and does not break the law or Discord’s rules;
- handle any requests from your members about their data with us in good faith.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything illegal, or to harass, threaten or spam anyone;
- upload or post malware, or content that is illegal or infringes someone’s rights;
- probe, scan or test the Service for vulnerabilities, or try to access data or servers you are not authorised for — report security issues to us instead;
- disrupt the Service, get around its limits (such as upload limits), or use it as general file hosting;
- scrape the dashboard or access it by automated means.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you and your members create, such as configuration, ticket messages and uploaded images. You give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to provide the Service — for example to save transcripts and show them to the people allowed to see them. Images you upload for panels are publicly reachable by their link, because Discord has to load them.
6. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server and, if you like, asking us to delete your data. We may suspend or end access to the Service — for a user or a whole server, including by removing the bot — if these terms are broken, to protect the Service or others, or if we stop offering the Service.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded entirely, we limit it to the maximum the law permits.
9. Indemnity
If you run a server with the bot, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims by others arising from how you used the Service there or from content you configured, to the extent the law allows.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as things change or the law requires. When we do, we will post the updated version here with a new date. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
